The Kent region has excellent road links to the whole of the UK.

The M2, A2, M20 and A20 pass directly through the region from the M25 London Orbital. There is one main coastal road along the Romney Marshes, the A259, which links the towns of Hythe, Dymchurch, St Mary's Bay, New Romney and Lydd.

Many of the coastal towns area are served by single carriageways; however throughout the rest of the region there is an abundance of smaller less effective roads. The Romney Marshes are served by many small, twisty and unlit roads so caution is required at all times throughout these areas.
