Trains to STN

Trains are just two minutes walk from the arrival areas. The Stansted Express is the best known rail service to Stansted Airport. It travels between Stansted & London in 45 minutes with trains departing up to four times an hour throughout the day. Night flights are less well served, with coaches replacing the trains. Stansted Express train ticket, they are available online or from the Travelex Bureau de Change in the International baggage hall and from the ticket office and ticket machines within the Stansted Airport railway station.

Further destinations are covered by other train operating companies also running to & from the train station which is below the terminal building. Central Trains run from Stansted to the Midlands & North of England. Wagn operate the Stansted Express & also trains to Anglia and North London.

An hourly local train service calls at all principal rail stations between London Stansted Airport and Liverpool Street Station, stopping at: Stansted Mountfitchet, Bishop's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Harlow Mill, Harlow Town, Roydon, Broxbourne, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Enfield Lock, Brimsdown, Ponders End, Tottenham Hale and Hackney Downs.

This service connects London Stansted Airport Station with Audley End, Cambridge, Ely, Peterborough, Leicester and Birmingham. It is possible to connect at Peterborough to Leeds, York, Newcastle and Scotland; and at Leicester for Derby and Sheffield.

This train service operates seven days a week with the first weekday train departing London Stansted at 06:19 Monday to Saturday and 09:15 on Sundays. The last train to Cambridge will depart London Stansted 21:15 Monday to Saturday and 22:40 on Sundays.

All trains are air conditioned and have special facilities for disabled people and space for cycles which must be reserved in advance.
