Alderney is easy to fly to with daily direct flights from Southampton, Bournemouth, Jersey & Guernsey. Two airlines operate domestic flights to & from Alderney Airport, Aurigny Air Services and Rockhopper.aero. The airports on Guernsey or Jersey have connecting flights from most UK and International airports. Connecting flight time to Alderney is only 15 minutes from the other two Channel Islands.
Aurigny Air Services operate three types of aircraft flying from Alderney to the other Channel islands, France & Holland:
Small Trislander for up to 15 passengers Islander for up to 8 passengers Saab 33 seater
The tiny airport is often full to capacity, the lounge has seating for 50 passengers but any dely can result in more than 100 people waiting. The one small building contains an arrivals hall, departure lounge with two check-in desks, cafeteria, duty free, newsagents, souvenir shop & a security check area for passengers and luggage.
