Chelmsford Museum looks at the Story of Chelmsford through time from the ice ages up to the present day. They have a live beehive, displays of birds and other animals, free quizzes and a small souvenir shop.
Chelmsford Museum have temporary exhibitions throughout the year, including Myths and Legends, and Slavery in 2008. They also run a range of family events, including Marconi Day at Sandford Mill, a Wildlife Fun Day in May 2008 and a Family Sculpture Day in June 2008.
