Following 20 years of phased restoration, Hylands House is fully completed. Visitors can enjoy all of the spectacular rooms, ranging from the exquisitely gilded Drawing Room to the sumptuously ornate Banqueting Room. The magnificant Grand Staircase has been restored to its former glory and the Repton Rom provides stunning views over the landscaped parkland.
The house is set in 574 acres of parkland. The park is grade II* listed and visitors can enjoy the historic woodland, parkland, Serpentine Lake and Pleasure Gardens. The park is continuing to develop with the New One World Garden to commemorate the World Scout Jamboree that was held at the Estate in 2007.
Visitors can also enjoy the Stables Visitor Centre including Huttons Courtyard Cafe, large gift shop, artist studio's, restored stables, second hand bookshop and interpretation room. Entry is free to the park and Stables Centre.
