Durham Flyfishers are a group of anglers who are keen and interested in learning more about flyfishing. They meet every second and fourth Thursday of the month through the winter (November to March) at the Brandon & Meadowfield Royal British Legion Club in Meadowfield.

Membership is open to anyone, novices and experts alike are all welcome. The club offers cheap beer and the company is always good.

The membership fee for 2008 is a tenner. Regular presentations are made by well known anglers including tips on running, still & saltwater. There is also day trips with tuition run by the club.
