Low Cost Flights & Airlines
Heathrows status as main UK international hub airport means high landing charges & so fewer no-frills or budget airlines fly to & from Heathrow than Luton or Stanstead. As the large established airlines such as BMI are introducing their own low cost flights this situation may change with more cheap flights becoming available at major airports.
Remember to check your departure or arrival terminal either on your tickets or with the airline.
