Located in the old town below South Bridge, in the centre of Edinburgh, are the infamous underground vaults where Auld Reekie Tours take place.

The walking tours visit various locations, with an informative guide explaining the gruesome history of the city and the fate of some its inhabitants.

Auld Reekie Tours also include a visit to the Torture Museum where visitors will witness the terrible pain and death inflicting instruments from Nuremberg and Bamberg castles in Germany dating from the late 1500's.

This is one spooky place . Also on my wish list reason to holiday in the UK . Scotland was the first priority because of the fact that it had the 2 most Haunted places I was determined to visit. My passion for the love of the Paranormal & mixing it with a vist to the South Bridge/ Niddry Street Vaults guided tours with AULD REEKIE TOURS , Was one of the highlights of my time in Edinburgh ,Scotand
