Perth Railway Station

Located in the west of the town, the train station is opposite the bus station, between Leonard St and Glover St, Perth, PH2 8HF. This is the closest train station for McDiarmid Park Football Stadium; it is three miles away so a taxi or bus is recommended to get to the ground for all but the fittest fans of walking.

Some direct trains connect Perth to London Kings Cross, a wider choice of train times are available with changes at Edinburgh and/ or Glasgow. Scottish main line trains travel north to Aberdeen and Inverness, across east and west to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee.

The station is centrally located on Guild Street, AB11 6LX. This is the closest mainline station for train travellers to Royal Deeside wanting to visit Balmoral Castle, the Braemar Gathering, the Highland Games or Lochnagar mountain.

Taybridge Railway Station (Dundee)

The station on Riverside Drive, Dundee, Tayside, DD1 4DB is a few hundred yards walk to the city centre. It is on the main east coast line with direct trains to London, Birmingham, Bristol, Newcastle, Plymouth, Sheffield and York. Overnight Caledonian sleeper carriages travel from London, the south coast and the west country to Dundee.
