Set within the historic medieval market town of Hatherleigh, amid the rolling North Devon countryside, Hatherleigh Holidays are pleased to present two delightful self-catering period holiday cottages, alongside luxury bed and breakfast accommodation.

The cottages are set on the Tarka Trail and National Cycle Network Route 27 (NCN Route 27) at the top of the busy market town. Hatherleigh with its weekly auctions and farmers market on a Tuesday and cattle market on a Thursday offers a host of amenities.

There are three country pubs with restaurants, The George, an old monastery dating back to 1450, and the Tally Ho! are both within two minute walking distance of the cottages; within a five minute walk is the Bridge Inn which is currently undergoing a full refurbishment.

You can do all of your grocery shopping in Hatherleigh, using the local supermarket, the weekly farmers market, Pete the Baker, the local butcher, papershop and Post Office.

Further Information: Period cottages in the medieval market town of Hatherleigh, easy reach of Dartmoor which can be viewed from the gardens. The cottages are fully equipped, with period features, including exposed beams, maintained in excellent order/recently decorated throughout. Fully fitted kitchen/diners, electric hob and oven, fridge, washing machine and microwave. Knights Cottage sleeps 4 - with the option of two double bedrooms or one double and a twin room, each bedroom is fully equipped and has its own colour television. Bath with shower over - £242to £506 per week Clockmakers Cottage sleeps 2 with ensuite shower facilities - £167 to £356 per week. Welcome tray on arrival, traditional Devon cream tea, jug of local cider, freshly laid free range eggs from their hens.
Special Features: A warm welcome and freshly cooked breakfasts awaits you whether you are visiting the area for one night or a few. They have three double rooms available, one of which can be converted to a twin room. Ensuite facilities, colour televisions in each room, drinks tray, use of a guest lounge. Breakfast consists of fruit juice, choice of cearals and either full English breakfast or kippers. All served with fresh coffee/tea, toast and preserves. They use fresh free range eggs from their own hens and locally sources produce wherever possible.
