An hour or so drive from the mining town of Marble Bar are many unique gorges, swimming holes and jasper formations. Coppins Gap is one of the few breaks in the 100 kilometres of the naturally occurring jasper rock wall. There is a tranquil swimming hole at the base of the hills and it is a recommended place to take a dip and revive from the searing heat. The unique landscape offers many places for exploration. Whilst there don't forget to look for the twisted colourful bands of rock that can be found.
There are rumours that a private company are wanting to mine Coppins Gap, so visit this unique feature while you still can!
