The Don Rhodes Mining Museum is an open air museum which was established as a testimony to the pastoral, railway, manganese and iron ore industries which have shaped the development of Port Hedland.
Three restored locomotives from the BHP Iron Ore railway provide a stunning centrepiece. The display is labelled with information signs depicting the history of each item. The area also has seating and shade.
