Set in the peaceful, secluded countryside of the Ythan Valley, Smithfield, the 200 year old home of the Thomas-Wright family, offers a warm welcome. As well as very comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation, they also provide a hide-away, five pitch campsite, in the meadow behind the house; offering the chance to get back to nature, be absorbed by the tranquillity, and melt into the unique and very special sunsets.

They are situated on the edge of the small hamlet of Ythanbank, nestled in the valley of the River Ythan, just 10 minutes from Ellon and Methlick, and 30 minutes from Aberdeen and Peterhead.

B&B guests are welcome to relax in the south-facing sitting room, listen to music and enjoy books from their wide and eclectic collection.
