At the south-eastern edge of Daylesford is Jubilee lake, a very popular spot for fishing, boating and swimming. Constructed in 1860 to supply water for the goldfields a walking track encircles the lake giving it good fishing to anglers and access to Soda Spring. The mineral spring is unique and a popular site located on the south bank of the lake. Take a dip and be introduced to the area's well-known spa country.

The lake is not suitable for swimming due to the cold currents. Canoes can be hired and are a great way to explore the lake. They can be hired at the kiosk on the lakes edge.
