Fort Augustus is half way between Fort William (known as the outdoor capital of the Highlands) and the capital city of Inverness. It is an ideal base for a holiday. Glencoe and the Isle of Skye are all within easy reach and there are plenty of walks and a golf course nearby. For keen walkers, Fort Augustus is approximately half way along the Great Glen Way.
