The historic rose gardens around Old Parliament House are a must see for lovers of gardens. Amongst the stunning displays are rose bushes that commemorate Australians from all walks of life. Unusual plants from other countries also feature in the garden, alongside seating pavilions, pergolas and rose arbours. Tennis courts, a bowling green and a cricket pitch are all open for public use.

While there grab a bite, enjoy a great cup of coffee or a good sized meal at Cafe in the House, the cafe on the lower level of Old Parliament House.
