Wander past the huge plate glass windows and see La Baracca is more than just gastronomical. This Keen Street eatery is an environment that is social, an atmospheric meeting hub and one of the most decadent locations in Lismore. The indoor setting is simplistic yet decadent with golden framed mirrors & red velvet curtains framing the street side windows. The décor is a combination of contemporary and classic, complementing some of the older features of the building that still remain.
Step outdoors and enjoy the al fresco surroundings & lively café ambience.
The menu is a fine selection of modern style Italian dishes, some of which are strongly influenced by the traditional home cooking of Northern Italy. Daily specials are always available. Head chef, Joel Avey creates and recreates a delicious & feisty cuisine using top quality commodities & fresh produce. Occasionally a gnocchi or a tiramisu made by mama Pilati can be found on the menu.
