Hackney Central Station

The main station in Hackney is aptly known as Hackney Central Station. Connecting East London to the rest of London, the station is between Dalston Kingsland, Highbury Islington and Hackney Downs over ground rail systems. It is in Travelcard Zone 2, but at this stage does not accept prepaid Oyster Cards. Every fifteen minutes trains depart the station. Connections are served by London Bus Routes 30, 38, 48, 56, 106, 236, 242, 253, 254, 276, 277, 394, D6, S2 and W15
