Artereal Gallery was founded in March 2006 and is housed in a restored 1890s heritage fire station building in Sydneys inner west. Artereal has been established as a space for contemporary art with a focus on exhibitions with significant international content and heavy curatorial influence.

Artereal represents mid career and established artists while providing exhibition opportunities for emerging artists. Exhibitions include: photography, painting, sculpture, drawing, video, print making and installation, with an exciting and varied program of curated group and solo exhibitions.

Special Events: Opening nights for all current exhibitions are the first Wednesday of every month. Drinks from 6-8pm. Join us for opening night drinks from 6 - 8pm on Wednesday 2 May 2012. Liam Benson - 'Motherland' 2 May - 2 June Artist Talk - 3pm Saturday 19 May Motherland is performance artist Liam Bensons social and political commentary on identity and nationhood and the alliances of monarchy, motherhood and masculinity. His works are held in significant public and private collections and he was recently awarded the Hazelhurst Art on Paper Award judged by Ben Quilty and the Contemporary Award in the Fishers Ghost Art Award judged by MCA curator Glenn Barkley.
Getting There: We are only three minutes from the city by car or five minutes by bus. Just cross over the Anzac Bridge, turn left into Darling St, Rozelle and we are three blocks down on the right hand side. Housed in an historic fire station, we are definitely worth a visit.
Opening Times: Wed - Sat 11 - 5 Stock room featuring a variety of sculptures, paintings, works on paper, photographs and prints by some of Australia's most promising artists and established artists with international reputations. Corporate and private collectors are welcome to come in and discuss their needs with our qualified consultants.
