Just a short distance from the town centre of Robertson, is Robertson Nature Reserve. Five hectares of temperate rainforest, a remnant of the famous 'Yarrawa Brush'. Pass through the unassuming gates and step in to primeval rainforest, tall trees, dense shrubs, tangled hanging vines, and tropical ferns. The reserve is a birdwatchers paradise with Lewin's honeyeater, crimson rosellas, white browed scrub hen, wonga and brown pigeons, and the Eastern Whip bird.
Take the 700 metre loop walk (suitable for wheelchairs) to discover all that this reserve has to offer. Signs along the walk describe the different rainforest plants and wildlife of the Reserve.
