Built in 1883 and located within the former Young Public School building, the Lambing Flat Folk museum is full of artifacts and memorabilia relating to Young. Browse through the five main display areas and see the historically significant 'Roll-Up Banner' carried by the miners during the Anti-Chinese Riots of 1886. Items from the gold rush era are poignantly displayed and Young's history is indelibly spread throughout the museum. Local dentist implements, barber tools, hairdressing paraphernalia and World War 1 and 11 articles are all waiting to be discovered!
