Goulburn Historic Waterworks houses the original steam operated pumping facility that provided Goulburn's first reticulated water supply in 1885.
Visitors can view a range of displays that tell the story of water supply starting from the humble horse and cart bringing barrels to the town through to the massive electric powered pumps of today.
Located on the Wollondilly River at Marsden Weir, Goulburn Historic Waterworks is a great day trip for families and groups. Enjoy coffee and cake at the Pumphouse Café or a picnic on the river bank.
