Historic cemeteries and graves

Historic cemeteries and graves in the Goulburn area give visitors the opportunity to pay their respects to some historic individuals and families from the region.

Many historic cemeteries are scattered around the areas villages and include Mortis Street pioneer cemetery, St Saviour's cemetery, Kenmore / Roman Catholic cemetery and many more.

Some of the most well known include the burial plot of Captain William Hovell at St Saviour's cemetery and the Durack Family at Mortis Street Cemetery.
