The remarkable Singing Ship musical sculpture is dedicated to James Cook who named Keppel Bay in 1770. The sculpture is aptly named as it sings almost constantly due to on-shore breezes. The effect, particularly on a clear day when the sculpture gleams in the sun is quite stunning.
