Deborah Dooley Retreats

Deborah Dooley is a freelance writer based in Sheepwash, a small tranquil village in the stunning Devon countryside. Deborah offers a peaceful retreat and a warm welcome, where writers and anyone who needs time and space can go to write, paint, meditate, walk, think or just sleep. She is happy to offer constructive criticism on your writing work. The comfortable accommodation is in a large traditional thatched house with log fire, cosy kitchen, garden and free wireless connection. The rooms have desks, and the house has many ideal places to write or gather inspiration. You can be as sociable or as solitary as you choose. You can stay on B and B basis, or half or full board. All meals are homecooked, our bread is homemade, wine is offered and we can privde packed lunches if needed. Most dietary needs can be catered for. The village pub is just 50 yards from the front door, and there are many delightful walks all around.
