The world-renowned Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is also only minutes away to the south, with Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise to the north, so there is plenty to keep you entertained. Take a brisk walk along the Esplanade to Burleigh Lookout and enjoy a panoramic view of the famous Gold Coast coastline, or enjoy a casual BBQ down by the beach.

There are parks with playgrounds and picnic areas scattered along the Esplanade and a National Park with walking trails where you can see native wildlife. Two Sundays every month you can visit the local markets. You can sample local cuisine at the beachfront cafes and restaurants while watching the sunset over the hinterland and the Gold Coast skyline come to life.

We went here for a relaxing weekend away and thats exactly what we had. The apartment was equipped with everything one could want, there was no need to leave. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment in the east building. The room was very 'tired' and 'dated'. From the washed out/faded cover on the lounge suite, window in lounge that did not shut, window in bedroom that did not open, broken vanity door, poor shower, cobwebs, torn and ripped curtains, chest of drawers with holes, very hard beds, refrigerator that froze everything, crockery that had not been washed and put straight back into the cupboard and did not match ...
