Mangrove boardwalk in Wynnum

The Wynnum Boardwalk is a section of Mangrove forest that covers Wynnum Creek to Fisherman's Island. Nearly 500 metres of pathways wind through the forest. Wildlife, fish and reptiles make their homes under, around or near the mangroves. It isn't unusual to see a big lizard sunning himself on the boardwalk or in summer thousands of migratory wading birds flocking. If you're an early riser watch the birdlife leaving from the Mangrove canopy.
