Tarago and District Show Society Incorporated presents the 2009 Show which will be the 51st Tarago Show. Free Entertainment includes reptile display, magician, shearing competition, sporting horses, face painting, tug of war, pot painting and competitions for children of all ages. Side Show Alley features: Merry Go Round, Jumping Castle, Show Bags, Stickers R Us, and Air Brush Tattoos, Catch a Fish, Shooting Gallery. Plus a variety of local and interstate displays with an extensive range of products on sale.
On show are the popular favourites such as a dog show, horse show, goats, alpacas, sheep, wool spinning and local produce, arts and crafts in the pavilion competitions. They also feature the ANSA NSW Fine Wool State Shearing Championship with over $5000 in prize money.
Delectable cuisine on offer including their famous Tarago and Lake Bathurst Pies and barbecue stalls at the Showground and recreation area.
