The Australian International Motorshow (AIMS) is an annual auto show held biennially between Melbourne and Sydney. Both cities have a long running history of motorshows.
Melbourne held an annual show from 1925 - 2009 establishing it as Australia's longest running motorshow. From 2004 the Sydney Motorshow adopted the name Australian International Motorshow, this was in respect of the global prestige the show had developed, being recognised globally in the top ten automotive shows.
The Australian International Motorshow joint venture began last year in Sydney. Sydney is hosting the 2012 Australian International Motorshow. Tickets will be available on the Australian International Motorshow website.
