The AUD22,600.00 Maroochy Swan Holiday Prelude Lawn Bowls Carnival is the most sought after bowls carnival in South East Queensland.
Situated in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, a leisurely one hour drive north of Brisbane the club offers three championships greens and the best recreational club for dining, gaming and relaxing.
Over 2400 players contest various one and two day events during the two and a half week period. Over 60 per cent of the competitors are from New Zealand, Tasmania, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and New South Wales.
Maroochy Swan Bowls is situated one block from the beautiful Maroochydore River and is close to the best Holiday Resorts, Caravan Parks, Motels and the Central Business District.
The carnival concludes on Friday 3 July with the annual Kiwi Versus Kangaroo Challenge Cup which offers the traditional Trans Tasman rivalry.
