Selwyn Snowfields - Learn to Ski

Selwyn Snowfields is the perfect place to learn to ski or snowboard with its gently progressing terrain & caring mountain staff. Regardless of your age, ability, or fitness level they have a program designed to suit the whole family - anyone can do it!

Selwyn Snow World is the Snow Sports School Centre for children from 18 months to 6 years. Kids have a ball with lots of fun and educational activities to do including skiing in their own private and dedicated children's learning area serviced by Gentle Annie - the moving carpet lift.

Children from the age of seven of intermediate ability and above are able to join an exciting and rewarding ski training program, run by qualified coaches from the Selwyn Snow Sports School. Established in 1985, the Selwyn Race and Development Squad (RADS) is designed to improve the skiing skills and racing technique of young skiers.

Training is conducted on 19 days throughout the season for 4 hours each day (10am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm).
