Harpenden JKA Karate

Harpenden JKA is a martial arts school affiliated with the Japan Karate Association which traces its roots back to the founder of Shotokan Karate, Master Funakoshi Gichin.

The schools chief instructor, Sensei Simon is a JKA Qualified Instructor and second dan black belt.

Harpenden JKA offer courses for beginners and experienced. The students learn to perform a series of strikes, blocks, and kicks and to combine these techniques to block and counter-attack an imaginary opponent.
