Oatlands Retreat

Oatlands Retreat is an affordable holiday accommodation option in historic Oatlands, approx 1hr between Hobart and Launceston.

Oatlands is home to historial colonial sandstone buildings, many of which are now businesses such as craft and antique stores, and restaurants and cafes, plus a new pancake parlour. It houses the 3rd oldest mill in the Southern Hemisphere which has recently been restored to its former glory as a working flour mill. Flour, bread and cakes can be purchased from the Companian Bakery and guided tours are available.

Oatlands Retreat is situated in the main street within walking distance to all town attractions. The town nestles on Lake Dulverton stocked with trout and you can purchase a fishing licence in town. You can also visit Cassaveen Knitwear located across the road. Oatlands has something to appeal to everyone.
