Opening in 1895, Queensland's Gallery of Modern Art offers a diverse range of exhibitions and collections, located just a short walk from the city centre in south bank, Brisbane.

GoMA collection is comprised of more than 11 000 contemporary & historical Australian, Indigenous Australian and international paintings, sculptures, decorative art objects and works on paper.

The Gallery is regarded as a national leader in developing youth audiences and is committed to profiling the work of Indigenous Australian artist.

Details

Location: The Queensland Art Gallery (QAG) and Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) are located 150 metres from each other, on the south bank of the Brisbane River. Entrance to both buildings is possible from Stanley Place, and the river front entrance to the Queensland Art Gallery is on Melbourne Street.
Opening Times: Monday to Friday 10.00am - 5.00pm Saturday and Sunday 9.00am - 5.00pm
