Bohemia Guild

Bohemia Art, Craft and Re-Maker's Guild, is as much about the people as their art. Bohemia will open its doors for the first time on Saturday 14th November on Market Jew Street in Penzance.

Bohemia Guild will contain the work of a cross section of society, from the young to the old. Works will include those from people who are just starting out or simply enjoy the act of creating beautiful things and from others who have successfully made their life's work in art or come to art late in life.

The gallery will place particular emphasis on re-making, whether it is the people who have left previous careers and re-invented themselves as artists, or in the objects they have taken from the past to re-create something new and out of the ordinary. Many of the makers at Bohemia are local artists while other makers are from farther upcountry.
