- St. Andrews is Scotland's oldest university town and is situated in the north-east corner of the Kingdom of Fife. In this region, the landscape varies from the gentle hills in the rural hinterland to the windswept cliffs, rocky bays and sandy beaches where scenes from the film 'Chariots of Fire' were famously shot.
