    The town of Stranraer lies on the west coast of Scotland at the innermost point of Loch Ryan. There is a choice of four golf courses in the area including Stranraer and the world famous links course at Turnberry. With the very mild climate there is an abundance of flora and fauna, with numerous gardens such as Castle Kennedy, Glenwhan and the famous Logan Botanical Gardens all within easy reach.
