Try your luck against Australia's best barra fishermen and women.

The Club Marine Barra Nationals is one of the premier fishing tournaments on the Australian fishing calendar. Each year up to 45 teams come from all over Australia (and some from overseas as well) to compete in a week full of fun, mayhem and fantastic fishing on the Daly River, near Katherine in the Northern Territory. Prizes are awarded to champion anglers and teams from mixed, interstate and local categories. Points are accumulated by catching barramundi that are 40 centimetres or larger, the larger the fish the more points awarded. Anglers and teams with the most points at the end of the week are the winners.

Besides the great fishing, the Club Marine Barra Nationals is renowned for its fun and nightlife activities around the stage arena. There are raffles every night along with activities to keep competitors entertained, like 'no talent', 'iron man' and joke competitions every night. All teams are encouraged to have an active participation in the daily festivities.
