Each year during the long week-end in March, Evandale turns on a superb arts festival; a celebration of fine art and fine music for the Glover Prize.
The Glover Prize exhibition is a fabulous show of paintings depicting Tasmania. The $30,000 prize is the richest landscape award in Australia and even brings entries from artists living overseas.
On the Sunday evening the gallery is converted into a concert hall for members of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
