The combination of activities, displays, shopping and festivities presents a colourful and exciting experience for visitors and community members alike. Come along to the official opening of Loxton's Christmas Festival - there'll be plenty to see and do. Highlights of this year's official opening include carol singers in the Rotunda, an art exhibition at The Terrace Gallery, fashion parades, a chalk drawing competition, go kart displays and heaps of entertainment with bands and choirs throughout the afternoon. Santa will be in his cave with gifts for the children and at around 8.45pm the official opening will be celebrated by a fantastic fireworks display.
