Barkala Farm is a unique farm stay accommodation and horse riding experience set on 8000 acres in the valleys of the Pilliga Forest.
Stay in The Old Schoolhouse, one of the most unusual buildings you'll ever see, Poets Cottage, a mud-brick cottage set in the fruit orchard, or The Studio, the original pottery gallery.
The accommodation buildings are a combination of stunning architecture and comfortable surrounds. Self-catering or meals available from Blue Wren Bush Cafe.

- There is much to do on the property. Barkala Farm & Pilliga Pottery offers farm tours, horse riding, pottery classes, bird watching, bush walking, stargazing and stargazing. Free demonstrations are always on at the Pottery, which is a fascinating place in its own right.
- Please Note
- Please note: do not use your GPS unit. It will direct you over an endless maze of Dirt Roads and you may never be seen again. Our old fashioned map is by far the better way to find us. Barkala Farm / Pilliga Pottery is well signposted on the Newell Highway. It is an easy, beautiful drive of about 10 minutes off the Highway.
