The Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa Gibb River Road Mountain Bike Challenge is a socially competitive team relay event raising community awareness and funds for charity.
Whilst the emphasis on The Challenge is on participation and community engagement, funds raised assist our primary beneficiary; Western Australian Police Legacy in their support of surviving families of deceased police officers.
In a unique approach, participating teams are invited to nominate a second registered charity to share their fund-raising endeavours. In this way, teams achieve personal and regional relevance in their participation.
Teams of two to six will depart Derby on Sunday 23 May 2010 and arrive in El Questro Wilderness Park on Thursday 27 May 2010.
Overnight camping and full catering services are provided at Silent Grove, Mount Elizabeth Station, Ellenbrae, Home Valley Station and El Questro.
Team places are strictly limited to enhance the safety of all participants.
