The Borroloola Barra Classic is a very popular annual fishing event that is held over Saturday and Sunday of the Easter weekend at King Ash Bay. This event caters for the serious as well as the not so serious anglers. There are prizes to be won in junior, male, female and champion angler categories.
The fishing stops and the partying starts when the sun goes down. Entertainment over the two days includes dancing, music and cane toad races.
