Tribal Theatre

Tribal Theatre has taken over the cinemas formerly known as The Dendy in a beautiful building on George Street, right in the city centre that is over one hundred years old. The art noveau 1900's decor creates an inspiring setting for any function, and we'd like to open up our doors to you, with the offer of great deals for cinema hire for any function.

CINEMA 2: Seats 216, with floor space to fit 30 standing, Mic, Stage - with stage entrance, Digital Projection Equipment, DVD & E-Cinema: An external HDD or USB stick drive can be connected to the player using the USB ports to ingest the film. Clips must be of the mpeg2 format with .mpg file extensions.

Sound- Interfacing with Dolby DA20 or DTS 6. 6D or XD10, is straight forward with a 6-channel audio and Control Pass through. (we have a 2 channel or 6 channel).

CINEMA 1: Seats 230, 35mm projector with dolby surround sound, Mic

Both cinemas are available for hire for single sessions, for a day or night. We are happy to cross promote events, or leave them as private functions. Caterers can be organised and are welcome to use our candy bar for service.
