The York Gourmet Food and Wine Festival returns in 2011 at the historic 1831 York Town Hall. The festival showcases a huge range of food and wine from all over Western Australia and amazing fresh produce from the Avon Valley. The town of York comes alive with atmosphere during this festival.
Visitors can experience flavours from all around the world with well over 40 gourmet food and wine stalls to sample from. Products include olive oil products, wines, chilli, yabbies, cheeses, jams, pickles, exotic spices, sauces, nuts, chocolate and much more.
Food demonstrations by international food critic and food writer Suzanne Wilder will be interactive and will welcome budding masterchefs to try their hand.
This event is not only for food critics but for those looking for a family friendly day out.
