The Loxton Historical Village Alive Day is a great family fun day for the whole family. A variety of activities are available throughout the day including working exhibits, craft stalls, food stalls including a traditional Pie Cart, village bakery baking bread and pastry goods, working blacksmith, carousel and quad engine rides. Be sure to browse through the 1956 Murray River Flood display of photos showing the destruction and heartbreak of the '56 flood.

Loxton's unique Historical Village is situated on the riverfront at Loxton in the Riverland of South Australia, adjacent to Loxton's main shopping area.

The Historical Village is a must to see, it will bring back memories of an era past and will educate children on how life used to be back in their grandparents and great grandparents time.
