The annual Mount Barker Celebration of Wildflowers is back again and will be held at the scenic botanical gardens of Banksia Farm. Banksia Farm is an 11 acre arboretum with all 78 Banksia species, most of the 98 Dryandra species and many other showy natives. The gardens abound with a recorded 45 bird species.
Celebration of Wildflowers will feature named native orchid displays, photographic displays, fine botanical artworks and glorious planted roadside displays of everlasting daisies, books, crafts, food and beverages. Visitors can also take scenic bushwalks with named species and obtain free advice and maps of the wildflower and orchid hotspots of the districts.
So come down and experience the beauty of the wildflowers in Mount Barker.
