Charters can cover the area from Cape Cleveland in the north to the Burdekin River in the south and offshore to the Shoals in the East. This includes renowned fishing spots such as the Haughton and Burdekin Rivers and the Barrattas.

Prices and Bookings

Minimum cost of for up to 2 anglers is $600 per day.

For 3 anglers the cost is $250 per person($750). For 4(max) anglers the cost is $200 per person ($800).

How do I get to Giru?

Townsville can be reached by air on regional, national or international flights.

Giru is situated about 60 Km south of Townsville and about 30 Km north of Ayr just off the Bruce Highway. Charters depart from the boat ramp.
