Cairns Dive Centre offer professional scuba diving/snorkelling day trips and live aboard cruises to the Great Barrier, as well as learn-to-dive courses from open water to instructor. Cairns Dive Centre is one of the largest certifying agencies in the world.

We have a variety of options for our open water dive courses, with all of our courses consisting of two days pool and theory at out training centre in Cairns. You can then choose to either do 2 single day trips or 2/ 3 nights on our live aboard boat out to the Outer Great Barrier Reef or 2 days/2nights (accommodation included) on Fitzroy Island.

Learn to dive courses commence daily in the onsite training facility, with a range of study materials and exams available in various foreign languages. Live aboard trips onboard the MV Kangaroo Explorer commence daily with a choice of 16 twin, double and 4 berth guests rooms. All rooms have air-conditioning, ensuite bathrooms and a window.

Further Information: With Cairns Dive Centre you can explore the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef with a highly dedicated team of experienced professionals. Cairns Dive Centre is an SSI training centre with 5 star facilities, and was awarded by SSI as their "Leading Certifier" and "Best Dealer" for 2005. Cairns Dive Centre became a Platinum Facility in 2006.
Further Information: MV Kangaroo Explorer, our live aboard boat, is a 25-meter catamaran, which offers 16 cabins; twins and doubles are at no extra cost. It is equipped with a spacious dive deck, large saloon, air-conditioned library and large sundeck for relaxing and sun bathing. Our onboard chef will tantalise your tastebuds with excellent, freshly prepared meals. All dietary requirements are catered for.
