Adelaide Gaol Museum

A tour of the gaol gives visitors a fascinating insight into life as a prisoner over some 140 odd years.

Adelaide Gaol is open to the public on Mon - Fri between 11.00am and 4.00pm, on Sundays and selected Public Holidays guided tours operate every 45 minutes between 11.00am and 3.30pm.

Explore the museum displays including two new exhibitions in the old Gaol Canteen and the Watchtower.

A gift shop is situated within the Gaol from where you can purchase souvenirs. Why not have your mug shot and fingerprints taken as a reminder of your time in Gaol.
